Way back in 2002 I was an executive at an IT firm. The only joy I had was that I was bringing home a pay check every month. I was stressed out because of the long shifts and the sales target I had. I was bringing home my frustration everyday.
My relationships were at an all time low. And guess what? Out of the five days I had to work, I would call in sick for two of them. And all of these behaviours showed up in my appraisals.
The Result - I never got promoted!
